New Mexico High School Basketball - Organ Mountain succumbs to Mayfield

The Mayfield Trojans topped the host Organ Mountain Knights basketball team by a final score of 56-44 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 game, on Thursday, February 2. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Bulldawgs enter the game with a 15-5 record after their 64-46 league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM).
With the defeat, Organ Mountain moves to 12-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Gadsden (Anthony, NM) to face the Panthers in a 5A District 3 game on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 12-9. Gadsden won 47-38 in their recent league game against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
