Texas High School Basketball - Boyd ripped by McKinney

The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Boyd Broncos to 20 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guyer for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, February 3. McKinney will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 61-31 league loss to Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-12.
The Broncos (6-20) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 13-15 record. In their last contest, Rock Hill was routed by Prosper (Prosper, TX), 52-30, in a league contest.
