The Northridge Academy Pumas topped the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers basketball team by a final score of 38-23 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Pumas face the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) in a Valley game, on Thursday, February 2. Northridge Academy will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 10-7 record after their 30-27 league win over East Valley (North Hollywood, CA).

With the defeat, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences moves to 10-7 on the year. The Vipers travel to Fulton (Van Nuys, CA) to face the Jaguars in a Valley game on Thursday, February 2. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 0-12. Fulton lost 36-10 in their recent league game against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA)
