San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves (San Jacinto, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Nuview Bridge Knights (Nuevo, CA), 61-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, San Jacinto Valley Academy upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School (Temecula, CA) to play the Mustangs in a South Valley bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School lost 36-24 in their recent league bout against Nuview Bridge (Nuevo, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the California Military Institute Rough Riders (Perris, CA) in a South Valley bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Nuview Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Rough Riders come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 39-25 league loss to Temecula Prep (Winchester, CA).
