Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ), 61-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Our Lady of Mercy Academy upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Villagers host Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Ocean City lost 31-19 in their recent league bout against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 50-27 non-league loss to Shawnee (Medford, NJ).
