In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Southeastern Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 54-47 triumph over the Pennington Tigers.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Southeastern will attempt to move on its 12-15 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 57-26 league loss to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL).
With the defeat, Pennington moves to 1-6 on the year.
