Texas High School Basketball - Petrolia can't hold off Windthorst

The Windthorst Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Petrolia Pirates to 51 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nocona for a 2A Region II District 9 contest on Friday, February 3. Windthorst will battle a Indians team coming off a 66-26 league win over Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Indians record now stands at 30-0.
The Pirates (19-12) will now prepare for their contest against Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 4-21 record. In their last contest, Archer City was nudged by Seymour (Seymour, TX), 47-30, in a league contest.
