Illinois High School Basketball - Resurrection knocked off by Providence Catholic

The Providence Catholic Celtics basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Resurrection Bandits to 41 in the Celtics non-league triumph on Monday.

The Celtics now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Providence Catholic will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 49-24 non-league win over Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 21-4.

The Bandits (18-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rosary (Aurora, IL). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 6-21 record. In their last contest, Rosary was defeated by Trinity (River Forest, IL), 56-18, in a non-league contest.
