West Virginia High School Basketball - Robert C. Byrd thwarts Sissonville

January 30, 2023: Clarksburg, WV 26301

The Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), 43-33 in Monday's non-league test.

The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats go into the Big Ten test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Grafton went down by East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 83-26, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Poca for a Cardinal test on Friday, February 3. Sissonville will encounter a The Dots squad coming off a 68-35 league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV). The The Dots record now stands at 5-12.
