In Monday's league outing, the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR), by a count of 47-14.

The Bulldogs (20-2) will now prepare for their outing against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils go into the 3A Far West outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Coquille smashed North Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 52-29, in a league outing.

The Lancers now hold a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Glide for a 3A Far West outing on Friday, February 3. South Umpqua will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-51 league loss to St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-13.
