Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve falls to Springfield

January 30, 2023: New Middletown, OH 44442

In Monday's league match, the host Springfield Tigers basketball team scored a good 34-19 triumph over the Western Reserve Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 4. Springfield will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 8-11 record after their 43-29 league loss to Salem (Salem, OH).

With the defeat, Western Reserve moves to 12-6 on the year. The Blue devils travel to McDonald (McDonald, OH) to meet the Blue Devils in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet match on Thursday, February 2. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 6-11. McDonald lost 49-27 in their recent league match against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)
