The Vienna Eagles basketball team scored 2 points and held the host Trico Pioneers to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goreville for a Black Diamond - West contest on Thursday, February 2. Vienna will meet a Blackcats team coming off a 68-43 league loss to Christopher (Christopher, IL). The Blackcats record now stands at 21-7.
The Pioneers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston City (Johnston City, IL). The Indians enter the Black Diamond - West contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Johnston City nudged Webber (Bluford, IL), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
