In Monday's league challenge, the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) ice hockey team nudged the host Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), by a margin of 2-1.
The Tigers now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfield Prep for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. Ridgefield will clash with a Jesuits team coming off a 5-2 league win over Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Jesuits record now stands at 6-3.
The Cardinals (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Green Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame tipped Darien (Darien, CT), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
