The South Lenoir Blue Devils tipped the visiting Southwest Onslow Stallions basketball team by a final score of 43-40 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 1. South Lenoir will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 3-13 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, NC).
With the defeat, Southwest Onslow moves to 7-11 on the year. The Stallions host James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to face the Tigers in a game on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-8.
