The Temple Christian Crusaders topped the host Timberlake Christian Tornadoes basketball team by a final score of 45-35 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA) in a game, on Tuesday, January 31. Temple Christian will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Ospreys enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 48-33 league win over Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA).

With the defeat, Timberlake Christian moves to 2-10 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Gryphons in a non-league game on Friday, February 3. The Gryphons enter the game with a record of 10-6. New Covenant lost 38-34 in their recent league game against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)
