The Spartans now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Woodland Christian for a Sierra Delta League test on Wednesday, February 1. Esparto will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 0-0 league Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Encina Prep drops to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA) to meet the Rams in a Sierra Delta League test on Wednesday, February 1. The Rams come into the test with a record of 8-3. Rio Vista won 3-0 in their recent league test against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA)
