The Albemarle Patriots tipped the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos basketball team by a final score of 49-42 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson game, on Friday, February 2. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 41-35 league win over Louisa County (Mineral, VA).

With the defeat, Fluvanna County moves to 9-10 on the year. The Flying flucos travel to Goochland (Goochland, VA) to face the Bulldogs in a Jefferson game on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 4-14. Goochland lost 77-53 in their recent league game against Orange County (Orange, VA)
