In Tuesday's league outing, the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), by a count of 53-42.
The Rowdy Rebel Bulls (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Mount Pleasant defeated Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 71-22, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Union Academy for a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley match on Friday, February 2. Albemarle will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 63-61 league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-15.
