University Prep Value Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Alliance Bloomfield Bulls (Huntington Park, CA), 48-37 in a league bout.

With the win, University Prep Value upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Wolves travel to Workman (City of Industry, CA) to clash with the Lobos in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Workman lost 66-51 in their recent league bout against Nogales (La Puente, CA)

Next up, the Bulls clash with the Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastside bout, on Thursday, February 1. Alliance Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Guerreros Jaguares go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 57-35 league win over ESAT (Los Angeles, CA).
