South Carolina High School Basketball - Laurens Academy can't hold off Anderson Christian

The Anderson Christian Lions basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Laurens Academy Crusaders to 47 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richard Winn Academy for a SCISA A Region IV contest on Friday, February 2. Anderson Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-26 league win over King Academy (Batesburg, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 19-1.
The Crusaders (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge Academy (Greenwood, SC). The Cougars enter the SCISA A Region IV contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Cambridge Academy was nudged by Our Lady of the Rosary (Greenville, SC), 69-18, in a league contest.
