Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI), 68-67 in a league bout.

With the victory, Anderson upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI) to play the Warriors in a Downriver bout on Friday, February 2. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Woodhaven won 54-39 in their recent league bout against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI)

Next up, the Railsplitters play the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Thursday, February 1. Lincoln Park will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 69-68 non-league loss to Taylor (Taylor, MI).
