The Annandale Cardinals basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers to 52 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dassel-Cokato for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Annandale will battle a Chargers team coming off a 87-70 non-league loss to Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 11-7.
The Lakers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, MN). The come into the non-league contest with a 4-27 record.
