Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL), 54-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Appalachian upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-16. Cornerstone lost 57-51 in their recent league bout against Altamont (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Vincent will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
