The Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) basketball knocked off the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 58-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Storm go into the Vermilion Valley test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Salt Fork notched a victory over Fisher (Fisher, IL), 45-30, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hoopeston for a Vermilion Valley test on Friday, February 2. Armstrong will encounter a Cornjerkers squad coming off a 52-46 league loss to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Cornjerkers record now stands at 16-10.
