Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), 36-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Loreauville upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA) to play the Eagles in a 2A District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-16.

Next up, the play the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) in a 2A District 8 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Ascension Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 21-7 record after their 75-39 league win over West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA).
