The Ladysmith Lumberjacks basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Ashland Oredockers to 56 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barron for a Heart O'North contest on Friday, February 2. Ladysmith will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 81-67 league loss to Hayward (Hayward, WI). The Golden Bears record now stands at 5-12.

The Oredockers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Tigers enter the Heart O'North contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Northwestern ran past Spooner (Spooner, WI), 93-48, in a league contest.
