In Tuesday's league outing, the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) basketball squad beat the host Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA), by a margin of 61-53.

The Storm (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA). The Paladins go into the AA Region 8 outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Fellowship Christian was topped by East Jackson (Commerce, GA), 73-64, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Banks County for a AA Region 8 outing on Friday, February 2. Athens Academy will clash with a Leopards squad coming off a 84-67 league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 14-9.
