Arkansas High School Basketball - Atkins knocked off by Lamar

The Lamar Warriors basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Atkins Red Devils to 49 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayflower for a 3A Region 5 contest on Wednesday, January 31. Lamar will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-38 league loss to Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 10-12.
The Red Devils (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Eagles enter the 3A Region 5 contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Baptist Prep was defeated by Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR), 65-16, in a league contest.
