Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ), 70-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mainland Regional upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 8-9.

Next up, the play the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National bout, on Thursday, February 1. Atlantic County Institute of Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 45-44 league win over Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ).
