Austin Waldorf Roadrunners (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Concordia Cardinals (Round Rock, TX), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Austin Waldorf upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Roadrunners travel to St. Paul (Shiner, TX) to clash with the Cardinals in a TAPPS 2A District 5 bout on Friday, February 2. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 10-13. St. Paul lost 64-41 in their recent league bout against Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Sacred Heart Indians (Hallettsville, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 5 bout, on Friday, February 2. Concordia will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 25-6 record after their 81-78 league win over Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX).
