The Avon Grove Red Devils basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Downingtown East Cougars to 51 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson for a Ches-Mont - National contest on Thursday, February 1. Avon Grove will battle a Warriors team coming off a 61-44 league loss to Coatesville (Coatesville, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 16-3.

The Cougars (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA). The Eagles enter the Ches-Mont - National contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Bishop Shanahan was defeated by East (West Chester, PA), 55-45, in a league contest.
