Ohio High School Basketball - Mathews ripped by Badger

The Badger Braves basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Mathews Mustangs to 57 in the Braves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pymatuning Valley for a Northeastern contest on Friday, February 2. Badger will battle a Lakers team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 11-4.

The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Skippers enter the Northeastern contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Harding triumphed over Andrews Osborne Academy (Willoughby, OH), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
