In Tuesday's league outing, the Van Horn Eagles (Van Horn, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Balmorhea Bears (Balmorhea, TX), by a margin of 59-33.

The Eagles (19-8) will now prepare for their outing against Marfa (Marfa, TX). The Shorthorns go into the 1A Region II District 9 outing with a 13-10 record. In their last outing, Marfa smashed Fort Davis (Fort Davis, TX), 64-10, in a league outing.

The Bears now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Dell City for a 1A Region II District 9 outing on Friday, February 9.
