The Barnesville Trojans basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Breckenridge Cowboys to 38 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wadena-Deer Creek for a AA Section 8 contest on Friday, February 2. Barnesville will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 69-52 non-league win over Bertha-Hewitt (Bertha, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-4.
The Cowboys (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Pelican Rapids triumphed over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN), 77-37, in a league contest.
