The Hancock Owls basketball team (Hancock, MN), dropped 83-65 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN)
The Battlers now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandon/Evansville for a A Section 6 battle on Friday, February 2. Battle Lake will battle a Chargers team coming off a 69-63 non-league win over Browerville (Browerville, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 12-6.
The Owls (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Ashby (Ashby, MN). The Arrows come into the A Section 6 battle with a 8-12 record. In their last battle, Ashby dropped by Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN), 72-60, in a league battle.
