Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Francis can't hold off Becker

The St. Francis Fighting Saints basketball team (St. Francis, MN), was nudged 69-64 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Becker Bulldogs (Becker, MN)

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Branch for a AAA Section 7 battle on Friday, February 2. Becker will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 84-68 non-league win over Big Lake (Big Lake, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 12-8.

Next up, the Fighting Saints clash with the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a AAA Section 5 bout, on Thursday, February 1. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 81-51 non-league win over Pine City (Pine City, MN).
