The Bellevue Comets basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Beckman Trailblazers to 31 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cascade for a River Valley contest on Friday, February 2. Bellevue will meet a Cougars team coming off a 67-56 league win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-4.

The Trailblazers (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Anamosa triumphed over Tipton (Tipton, IA), 61-59, in a league contest.
