Beloit Memorial Purple Knights (Beloit, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Waterford Wolverines (Waterford, WI), 72-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beloit Memorial upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Purple Knights host Westosha Central (Salem, WI) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Westosha Central won 75-65 in their recent league bout against Badger (Lake Geneva, WI)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI) in a Southern Lakes bout, on Friday, February 2. Waterford will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 41-38 league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI).
