Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kingsley Stags (Kingsley, MI), 71-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Benzie Central upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Onekama (Onekama, MI) to play the Portagers in a Northwest bout on Thursday, February 1. The Portagers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Onekama won 51-36 in their recent league bout against Leland (Leland, MI)

Next up, the Stags play the Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI) in a Northwest bout, on Thursday, February 1. Kingsley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Norsemen go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 64-51 league loss to Frankfort (Frankfort, MI).
