St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Boston College High Eagles (Boston, MA), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. John's Prep upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA) to play the Knights in a Catholic bout on Friday, February 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Catholic Memorial won 65-62 in their recent league bout against Malden Catholic (Malden, MA)

Next up, the Eagles play the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Boston College High will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 53-41 non-league loss to Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA).
