The Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX), 42-32 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rebels (12-18) will now prepare for their test against Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region II District 16 test with a 18-11 record. In their last test, Harts Bluff went down by Clarksville (Clarksville, TX), 49-48, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Maud for a 2A Region II District 16 test on Friday, February 2. Bowie will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 75-35 league win over Detroit (Detroit, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-16.
