Ohio High School Basketball - Buckeye Local overwhelmed by Monroe Central

The Monroe Central Seminoles basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Buckeye Local Panthers to 35 in the Seminoles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Seminoles now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caldwell for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Monroe Central will battle a Redskins team coming off a 60-58 league loss to Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 5-11.

The Panthers (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH). The Shamrocks come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Barnesville was routed by Union Local (Belmont, OH), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
