Ohio High School Basketball - Buckeye Trail knocked off by East Canton

The East Canton Hornets basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Buckeye Trail Warriors to 57 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newcomerstown for a Inter-Valley contest on Friday, February 2. East Canton will battle a Trojans team coming off a 43-26 league loss to Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 5-11.
The Warriors (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH). The Saints enter the Inter-Valley contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Tuscarawas Central Catholic was defeated by Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH), 63-30, in a non-league contest.
