With the victory, Burnet improves its record to 19-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 15-13. Jarrell won 38-30 in their recent league challenge against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX)

Next up, the Gators confront the Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Gateway College Preparatory will attempt to improve on its 12-14 season record. The Badgers come into the challenge with a 23-6 record after their 50-46 league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX).
