California Academy of Math & Science Rebels (Carson, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA), 36-35 in a league bout.

With the win, California Academy of Math & Science upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Rebels travel to New Roads (Santa Monica, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Coastal bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 7-11. New Roads lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Lennox Academy (Lennox, CA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Geffen Academy Bruins (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coastal bout, on Thursday, February 1. Vistamar will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 64-42 league loss to Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA).
