Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), 79-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cambridge-Isanti upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Bluejackets host Monticello (Monticello, MN) to play the Magic in a AAA Section 5 bout on Friday, February 2. The Magic go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Monticello won 80-72 in their recent league bout against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a AAA Section 5 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 84-68 non-league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MN).
