North Central Jets (Powers, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carney-Nadeau Wolves (Carney, MI), 54-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Jets host Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI) to play the Trojans in a Central Upper Peninsula bout on Friday, February 2. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Forest Park won 72-44 in their recent non-league bout against Stephenson (Stephenson, MI)

Next up, the Wolves play the Mid Peninsula Wolverines (Rock, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Carney-Nadeau will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 1-12 record after their 32-21 non-league loss to Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI).
