The Cassadaga Valley Cougars basketball team (Sinclairville, NY), was overwhelmed 81-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Randolph Cardinals (Randolph, NY)
The Cardinals now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gowanda for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I East battle on Wednesday, January 31. Randolph will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-53 league loss to Falconer (Falconer, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Frewsburg (Frewsburg, NY). The Bears come into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I East battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Frewsburg trounced Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY), 64-60, in a league battle.
