Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) and the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), saw North Oconee's basketball squad hold off Cedar Shoals by a count of 57-54.

With the victory, North Oconee upgrades its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to play the Vikings in a AAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 12-11.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Cedar Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 59-51 league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).
