New Jersey High School Basketball - Lacey Township knocked off by Central Regional

The Central Regional Golden Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Lacey Township Lions to 42 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Toms River East for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Central Regional will meet a Raiders team coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 10-8.
The Lions (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats enter the Shore B - South contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Pinelands Regional was defeated by Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ), 46-40, in a league contest.
